The question pulls a laugh from him as they walk. Cardiff doesn't seem as lonely with his best friend walking beside him, the two of them jostling like teenagers. The locals are used to unusual sights like his metal arm so the shield barely warrants a second glance from anyone as they pass.

He swings open the door and motions him inside. "Torchwood's given me a home and a team again. The missions are weird as hell, but I like it."
