There have been so many times that Steve wishes he could just kiss Bucky, but that’s not something people do. It’s not something he does. He’d never wreck a friendship by doing that. And never now that Bucky is alive and back in his life.

He holds the guy a little too hard, fist in the back of his shirt.

“Yeah, it’s okay now,” he promises, “but I’m just trying to convince myself you’re real, pal.”
