If he’d been operating at full Sylar capacity, he would not have let the others in the lab know he’d come back. Alone. Perhaps it’s a good indication that he really doesn’t want to cause problems the way he’d used to. Hurting people isn’t just game anymore, but he’s still coerced by the very nature of his aptitude.
