Jack nods that he’s heard Bucky but he isn’t about to just take anyone that the Rift’s dropped off back to Cardiff. This is exactly what happened to Torchwood India and he’s not prepared to lose everyone in one go.
“So you all know each other?” The Captain asks, purposefully not looking at Steve. He doesn’t need to have Bucky start a riot.
Unfortunately, Steve takes point. Work to be done comes first. “We don’t. Pete here says he knows me. But I haven’t met Pete or John.”
Jack’s eyebrows raise.
“Are we all human?” Jack continues, which actually draws a snort from the quiet man in the corner.
